  1. Diggin’ your short lectures. 2 questions please; what software program do you use to make these? And Esmolol for Thyroid Storm – is that 250-500mcg/kg?

      1- I use Google docs presentations to make the power point slides, and then record with Camtasia
      2- YES! Thanks for catching my typo!! Please only give 250-500mCg/kg of esmolol!

  2. This is great! Just note that iodine allergies don’t exist. It’s necessary for life, and as you note, thyroid hormone production. People have radiocontrast allergies. So no need for alternatives to Lugol’s etc.

  3. Iodine therapy blocks the release of thyroid hormone and decreases iodide transport and
    oxidation in follicular cells. It has no effect on the peripheral conversion of thyroxine to triiodothyronine.
